River Run 2022 - start line

Save the Date - Our 20th Annual Race is Saturday, October 7, 2023.

The 5K and 10K River Run takes place annually on the first Saturday of October up and down the scenic Fox River. The USA Track and Field (USATF) certified course starts and finishes in front of the Village Hall, 200 North River Street, Montgomery. This is the perfect race for all ages and abilities. Pets, kids, and strollers are welcome to walk/run the 5K course! The racecourse map is linked below.

RUN REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- Long-Sleeve Dry-Fit Shirt (limited quantities and sizes available, register by August 31 to guarantee your shirt)
- Race Goodie Bag
- Bib with Chip Timing
- Medals for 1st and 2nd Place Category Winners and Top Finishers

REGISTER EARLY
The registration fee will increase by $5 after August 31. Participants who register before August 31 are guaranteed to receive a long-sleeve dry-fit shirt and goodie bag!


TIMING & SAFETY (Certification Code: 5K: IL-06047JW - 10K: IL-13137JW)
Splits will be given at every mile. An overhead digital clock will be located at the finish line. The race will be chip timed. Water stations and first aid are available on the course.
