The bi-annual shredding event will occur in front of the Montgomery Police Department, located at 10 Civic Center Ave. on the Village's west side off Rt, 30. The event will run from 9A-noon on Saturday, May 13, 2023. This year's event is made possible through a partnership with Earthmover Credit Union and is open to the entire Montgomery community and the credit union members.

Advance registration is not required. The Village of Montgomery contracts with a third-party vendor, Beaver Shredding, to provide free paper shredding to residents twice a year (Spring, Fall). 

Participants can enter the Stuarts Sports Complex/Montgomery Police Department Campus from Griffin Dr., heading north to Civic Center Ave. 

PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. Volunteers and staff from the shredding company will assist you in unloading your car and safely destroying your documents. 

Donation limits may apply. First come, first served. Any resident or Montgomery-based organization looking to access this event and opportunity with five or more boxes of shredding, contact the Village or Earthmover Credit Union in advance or must plan to arrive after 11A. The final hour is reserved for bulk shredding; truck space is limited.  

The Fall shred event date is tentatively planned for September 23, 2023, at the same time and location.
