Smoke Plus opened its doors in Montgomery in April this year, offering a wide variety of specialty and name brand tobacco products. The store offers traditional and electronic cigarettes and cartridges, cigars, loose tobacco and smoking accessories.
Smoke Plus, located at 2079 Orchard Road, is also home to the Illinois Lottery and carries energy drinks, soda and candy.
“This store is the only place [in the area] that sells a huge variety of premium cigars from all over the world,” said Muhammed Habib, owner of Smoke Plus.
Cigars are stored in humidity-controlled cabinets along the walls of the shop to ensure the freshest product possible.
The store also carries cigarette-making machines with tobacco and tubes, pipes and chewing tobacco.
“Smoke Plus is proud to serve Montgomery,” Habib said.
Smoke Plus was the first new business this year to open in the Blackberry Creek shopping center. GoldMax opened shortly after and Sport Clips is opening this week.
Existing businesses in the center are Rosati’s, Jenny Nail Spa and T-Mobile. Rosati’s is undergoing a plan for expansion set to debut later this month. The center is now 100 percent occupied.
