Under the new trash contract, Allied Waste will supply every household in Montgomery with a wheeled, covered recycling cart. Everyone will get a 65-gallon cart delivered during the week of February 27th. However, for a limited time, you can select a smaller (35-gallon) or larger (95-gallon) cart at no extra cost if you notify Allied Waste by January 23rd. All three sizes of carts are on display at the Village Hall and the Police Department. Remember, if you do nothing, you will automatically receive the 65-gallon cart. You only need to contact Allied Waste if you prefer a different size. However, keep in mind that once the carts are delivered, no changes can be made until August and there will be a $40 change fee.
