A free walking tour of historic downtown Montgomery will be offered at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21st. Members of the Historic Preservation Commission will provide information about Gray’s Mill, the pop factory, Lyon Metal, Michaels Grocery Store, the Montgomery Methodist Church, the South Shore Inn and other historic buildings located on the block bounded by River, Mill, Main and Webster Streets.
Meet at the Village Hall, 200 N. River Street, to begin the tour, which will last about one hour. Free refreshments will be provided after the tour, and Settler’s Cottage will be open for visitors.
