The Village of Montgomery was very disappointed to learn that repairs to the Webster Street railroad crossing near Route 31 are not planned for this summer, and in fact are not even in the five-year plan. Railroad crossings are regulated by the Illinois Commerce Commission. We would encourage anyone who is concerned about the condition of the Webster Street railroad crossing to submit a complaint and request for repairs using the following link:
