The Village of Montgomery has announced that MYS, Incorporated will begin bridge rehabilitation services on the Mill Street Bridge over the Fox River. The work is scheduled to begin on August 20th with completion by October 16th.
The work will generally consist of bridge deck repairs and bridge painting. The project will include bridge deck scarification, bridge deck latex concrete overlay, structural repair of concrete and concrete coating.
During this time, Mill Street will be closed from River Street to IL Route 25 and all traffic will be required to follow the posted detour route. Traffic will be detoured via the Ashland Avenue Bridge to the north.
