Montgomery Welcomes Ben Brzoska as New Trustee

Trustee Brzoska being swore in by Judge Krentz

The Village of Montgomery is delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Brzoska as the newest member of its Board of Trustees. Brzoska brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to community service that will significantly benefit the Village. The Honorable Judge Stephen Krentz of Kendall County Courts officially swore Brzoska into duty at the Monday, February 12, 2024, Board Meeting held at the Montgomery Village Hall.

Brzoska, his wife Linda (of 32 years), and their three children built their home in Montgomery in 2004 as the Village was experiencing exponential growth. For the past two decades, he has been an active community member. His dedication to public service and his passion for improving the quality of life for residents make him an excellent addition to the Board of Trustees.

In his role as Trustee, Brzoska will work alongside fellow board members and Village officials to address the needs and concerns of Montgomery residents, promote economic development, and ensure the continued prosperity of the Village.

“I am honored to serve as a Trustee for the Village of Montgomery,” said Brzoska. “I am deeply committed to serving my community and eager to work with my fellow board members to make Montgomery an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Broska’s professional background includes a 27-year career with Lions International, and his current supply chain and logistics work as a Chicago sports marketing firm manager. His longtime career in the nonprofit sector and current role will bring valuable perspective to the Board of Trustees as they tackle the critical issues facing the Village.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben Brzoska to the Village Board,” said Mayor Matt Brolley. “Ben’s volunteerism within the Village and local area is vast. His passion for our community and dedication to public service make him an excellent choice for this role. I am confident that Ben will make significant contributions to the Village.” Brzoska’s current list of volunteer roles within the Village includes but is not limited to the Rotary Club of Montgomery, the Montgomery Citizen Police Academy, the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Beautification Committee, the Historic Preservation Commission, and the Montgomery Foundation.
