Montgomery, Illinois –The Montgomery Police Department is thrilled to announce its participation in the annual Polar Plunge event supporting the Illinois Special Olympics. On March 3, 2024, members of the Montgomery Police Department will bravely take the plunge into ice waters to raise funds and awareness for this exceptional cause.
The Illinois Special Olympics provides life-changing opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports training and competitions, fostering physical fitness, courage, and joy. The Montgomery Police Department is proud to support these athletes and their families by participating in the Polar Plunge.
