The Village of Montgomery invites the public to the first Concert in the Park of 2025 at Montgomery Park on Thursday, July 17, featuring the high-energy party band Disco Circus. This free community event promises an unforgettable summer evening of live music, great food, and family-friendly fun.
The Concert begins at 6:30P, and attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs and blankets to enjoy the performance in comfort. The park will open at 5:30P, with plenty of space and shade for guests to set up "Ravinia-style" and enjoy the planned activities before and during the live entertainment.
Foodies are in for a treat, with a lineup of popular food trucks opening before the music starts, including:
- Grumpy Gaucho – serving up authentic Argentinian empanadas and more
- Strawberries BBQ – offering smoky, savory barbecue favorites
- The Sippin' Shack – pouring refreshing non-alcoholic beverages to keep you cool
As a special community connection, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be on site distributing free custard during "Custard with the Cops," a fun opportunity to meet Montgomery police officers in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
A face painter will also be available throughout the evening, offering colorful designs for purchase and adding to the festive atmosphere for a fee.
"This concert is all about bringing our community together," said Community Engagement & Events Coordinator Rosie Boeing. "With great music from Disco Circus, delicious food options, and fun for the whole family, it's the perfect way to celebrate a summer night in Montgomery."
