The Montgomery Police Department recently placed parkway signs near the 4 school zones throughout the Village reminding all to Drop it and Drive. These signs are a reminder that using hand-held phones while driving IS ILLEGAL in Illinois.
The Montgomery Police Department would like residents to remember that this law was created with the safety of everyone in mind. Distracted driving is dangerous. Make a choice....put down your phone and get to your destination safely!
