Trustee Pete Heinz is the longest serving member of the Montgomery Village Board, having first been elected in 1987. He is retired after working 31 years at Caterpillar. He has three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pete has been President of the Fox Valley Pony League, Treasurer of the Corn Belt Little League, a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and actively participates in the planning of the annual Montgomery Fest. Many years ago, Pete was successful in bringing the first
Montgomery Fest carnival to town and also played an instrumental role in the VFW War Memorial site. After the new Village Hall opened, Pete helped organize the Village’s first monthly senior luncheon.
Pete says, “I take pride in working for the residents of Montgomery. I always put the residents’ opinions first and focus on ways to make the Village of Montgomery a better community.”
