AN IMPORTANT UPDATE RE: PROPERTY TAX REBATE PROGRAM 2022To continuously improve processes and service for our residents, the Village of Montgomery Board will review the Property Tax Rebate Program and possible enhancements during the upcoming November 14 and 28 Board Meetings. This review will delay the rebate application process. If you have already submitted for the 2021 year, your application is held, and you will not have to resubmit. If you have yet to apply for the 2021 program, the updated application and guidelines will be released to the community on or about January 1, 2023, with a tentative due date of February 28, 2023. More information will follow in the December Village Newsletter and included with the January water bills. Additionally, the Village will notify the public via the website and share on social media. We look forward to rolling out our enhanced program soon. Thank you for your patience.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMEach year the Village of Montgomery offers residents the ability to apply for a Property Tax Rebate from the Village. Residents must apply online to receive the rebate during the designated application timeframe. All applications are subject to approval.
The Property Tax Rebate Program for the 2021 Tax Year is currently under review by the Village Board. The updated guidelines and application process will open on or about January 1, 2023. Applications must be completed online. To request a paper copy mailed to you once they are available, or if you require assistance, please email email@example.com.
