Bring your confidential documents or old files to shred and recycle safely - this free service is offered twice-annually for residents.

The Village of Montgomery contracts with a third-party vendor, Beaver Shredding, to provide free document destruction to residents twice a year (spring and fall). The shredding event will take place at the Montgomery Police Department, located at 10 Civic Center Ave. on the Village's west side. This event runs from 9A-12P, unless the truck fills early at which time the event will close.

The event is co-sponsored by the Earthmover Credit Union and the Village of Montgomery. Volunteers onsite will collect donations (optional) to benefit a local charity. Please stay in your cars, volunteers will unload boxes into the shred truck for secure disposal and recycling.

THERE IS A FOUR-BOX MAXIMUM ALLOWED PER VEHICLE.
