Historic Preservation Committee

Mission: To promote the educational, cultural, economic, and general welfare of the Village through an effective preservation program.

Overview: The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is a group of dedicated volunteers that have an interest in historic preservation and a deep sense of pride in the history of Montgomery.  The HPC operates the Settler's Cottage Museum at 198 N. River Street in front of the Village Hall. They actively seek donations of photos and other historical memorabilia to catalog and preserve for future generations. Additionally, the HPC organizes several fundraising events each year.

The Historic Preservation Commission meets at 6:30P the third Monday of each month at Village Hall.
