The Village of Montgomery invites residents to an informational open house on Monday, March 31st, from 6 to 8P at the Montgomery Police Department (10 Civic Center Dr.). The event will include a presentation detailing the scope of the upcoming road resurfacing project, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Beginning in April 2025, the Village will commence a comprehensive road resurfacing project affecting various roads throughout Montgomery. Residents in affected areas will receive notification as construction may impact roadways adjacent to their properties.
The project will include:
- Pavement milling and patching
- Sidewalk repairs and ADA-compliant ramp replacements
- Curb and gutter removal and replacement
- Manhole and inlet adjustments
- New asphalt pavement and pavement markings
- Roadway sign removal and replacement
- Landscape restoration, including sod installation
Residents can expect lane closures, parking restrictions, and minor delays throughout the project, though no significant roadway closures are anticipated. The project is expected to be substantially completed by the end of August 2025.
Representatives from the Village and Engineering Enterprises, Inc., will be on-site before construction to determine removal limits for various project elements.
