Montgomery Fest is Back on August 19, 20, & 21
Montgomery, IL – The Village of Montgomery is proud to announce that the 37th annual Montgomery Fest is August 19-21, 2022. The fest will take place downtown Montgomery along the Fox River in Montgomery Park (301 N. River St.).
The fest committee announced a jam-packed three-day schedule featuring live entertainment, a carnival, food, beer tent, fishing derby, parade, car show, fireworks, and more! This year's fest offers expanded free shuttle bus service provided Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from two locations for easy access and parking: Lakewood Creek Elementary School (2301 Lakewood Creek Dr.) and the U-Haul Parking Lot (1900 Douglas Rd.) near Douglas & Route 30. Shuttle buses will run every half hour from 5-10P Friday and 11A until 10P on Saturday and Sunday. Limited parking for the fest is available on the street and in the Lyon Metal parking lot (421 N. Main St.) just west of the grounds.
The fest will feature a new carnival amusement company, Windy City Amusements. In addition, the Car Show moves to Saturday from Sunday, offering a later start to the show for visitor convenience from 11A-7P. Unless otherwise noted, all activities occur at Montgomery Park, corner of River and Mill Street. The beer tent is hosted by the Montgomery Foundation and located in Food Vendor Row along River Street between Mill St. and Taylor St. ATMs are located onsite near the food vendors, in Village Hall, and at the Carnival.
