ABOUT TRUSTEE SPERLING
Trustee Sperling served as a Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals member before being elected as a Trustee. She was also appointed to the Orchard Road TIF Steering Committee. In addition, she has volunteered for the Montgomery Economic Development Corp (MEDC), assisting with the annual golf outing, other special events, and various projects. She has also volunteered for the Valley Industrial Association, working at their annual golf outing and many other events. She is a current member of the Oswego Toastmasters Club, where she has served as a Vice President, Treasurer, and Mentor. She also currently serves on her Homeowners Association Board of Directors.
Frequently, Trustee Sperling can be found walking her dogs or visiting with neighbors throughout the Seasons Ridge area. That's how most people know her – as the lady always walking her dogs. She also enjoys regular visits to the Montgomery Library Campus and taking advantage of our park areas along the Fox River.
Trustee Sperling states, "We are at such a pivotal time as we start to see the economy taking small steps toward improvement. The decisions made now will have a tremendous impact on our Village. I am very interested in keeping our existing business community strong and attracting new entities that will provide quality jobs and expand our tax base. In addition, I would love to see us maintain that special something that when asked to describe Montgomery, my immediate answer is 'feels like home'."
