Department Overview & Functions
The Community Development Department provides efficient, smart, sustainable, and timely planning of Montgomery's ongoing development. This is done through well-established and innovative planning and building practices and techniques. The department also provides customer service assistance and public education to the petitioner and the community throughout any planning and development process.
The department works to implement the Village's vision statement as identified in its comprehensive plan.
