The Craft Fair at Montgomery Fest is a fan favorite. Attendees are excited to see which vendors are present yearly and look forward to seeing you.

Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17

LOCATION+
The VFW Post #7452 has graciously extended its parking lot space for our Craft Fair this year. This will allow for additional booth spaces and enable vendors to remain in the same location for sales on both days. Plus, the VFW hosts additional festival activities and entertainment, and you'll be right there in the action. VFW Post #7452 is directly across from the Montgomery Village Hall off River St. at 121 N. River St.

BOOTH FEES & RESTRICTIONS
The 2025 fees and guidelines will be available when the applications are launched on or about April 15.

Includes the selling of goods that are made by hand by the crafter. 

100% of the items sold at the booth must be hand-crafted to qualify for the crafter pricing.

Includes the resale of manufactured goods or services.

Crafters or artisans selling handmade and manufactured goods will be considered Market.

This includes NFP (501c3), schools, religious organizations, etc. Sales are not authorized.

Proper documentation of 501c3 and federal tax identification may be required.


The Montgomery Fest committee reserves the right to approve applications, view each booth after set-up, and request the removal of any items deemed inappropriate for sale at Montgomery Fest. Any violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the Montgomery Fest Craft Fair and disqualification from any future craft events sponsored by the Village of Montgomery. Fees are nonrefundable in these instances.

DISPLAY GUIDELINES
One 10' x 10' canopy per space is permitted. Participants must provide their own display materials, chairs, stands, tables, tents, etc. Electricity is not available, and fuel generators are not permitted. No oversized canopies will be allowed. Trailers/vehicles will not be allowed in the craft area. Booths are to be kept neat. Entrants must remain for the entire show.

SECURITY
Exhibitors are fully responsible for their work and property care, safety, and security. Although the Montgomery Fest grounds will be patrolled at night, neither the Village of Montgomery nor its designees are responsible or liable for any damage, theft, or loss of works or property that occurs. Exhibits must be supervised during Craft and Market Show business hours.

  1. Frequently Asked Questions

Q:What is the difference between a craft vendor and a market vendor?
A: Eligible Craft vendors sell goods that are hand made by the Crafter.  For example, Craft vendors may include handmade art, jewelry, candles or woodwork.

Eligible Market vendors include the resale of manufactured goods or services.  For example, Market vendors may encompass Thirty One bags, Tastefully Simple products or Usborne books.

Q: Will I be able to restock during the day?
A: We encourage you to bring a handcart if you anticipate needing to restock during the day as you cannot pull your car up to your booth during open Craft & Market Fair hours.

We also note that your booth needs to be staffed at all times during open Craft & Market Fair hours.

Q: Where do I park?
A: We have parking space on the west side of Village Hall (200 N. River St.) or at Lyon metal (420 N. Main St.).

Q: What are the hours of the craft fair?  
A: The Montgomery Fest Craft & Market Fair runs 10A-7P on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17.

Q: What are the hours of the fest?
A: Montgomery Fest runs 4-10P on Friday, August 15; 10A-10P on Saturday, August 16; and 10A-9P on Sunday, August 17.

Q: What is the sales tax rate for Montgomery?
A: Montgomery’s current sales tax rate is 8.000%.

Q: How many vendors do you typically see participate?
A: We typically see about 30-35 vendors annually.

Q: How many festival attendees do you normally see?
A: Montgomery Fest is a family-friendly festival that sees an annual 15,000 attendees throughout the weekend.

Q: Is this a juried event?
A: The Village of Montgomery reserves the right to approve or deny Craft & Market Fair applications as they see fit to ensure a wide variety of vendors and items are represented at the Craft & Market Fair.

 Once applications have been approved, vendors will be notified and assigned booth space.
