The Montgomery Beautification Committee annually sponsors the Holiday Decorations Contest to recognize homes and businesses for outstanding Holiday decorations. Residential and business property owners can self-nominate or nominate a fellow property for their exceptional holiday displays. Nominations open each year around November 15 and close the Sunday before judging, which traditionally takes place the second Wednesday of the month.
Residents can nominate their property or someone else's. All that is needed is the property address. Committee members will then visit the selected properties to recognize the homes. Finally, the committee will place a sign in front of the properties chosen for an award and asks owners to display their award signs until they remove their decorations.
In 2022 nominations will be accepted online through December 11, and judging will take place on December 14 beginning at 5P. You can nominate a property by submitting the property address here or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

This contest is open to Village of Montgomery addresses only. Unincorporated areas such as Boulder Hill are not eligible.
