Kids Planting a Tree

Overview

Mission: To positively impact the beauty of the community and enhance cultural opportunities for the Village of Montgomery through plantings, gardens, enhancement of natural habitats, and encouragement of the arts through volunteer efforts.

Village of Montgomery businesses and residents are invited to support the Friends of Mill Street Bridge Commemorative Sign Program. Applications are available on or about March 5 each year and due by May 1. New participants are always welcome. For more information visit the Friends of Mill Street Bridge Sign Program.

The Beautification Committee works on a variety of Village projects. Past projects have included the bluebird attractions, enhancement of Village flower beds, and updating Village pole banners. The Committee also sponsors the summer floral, Halloween, and Holiday display contests.

The committee is chaired by Trustee Ben Brzoska and supported by staff committee liaisons, the Director of Public Works, and the Village Arborist.
